Investment Criteria

We require ownership control, but are flexible about other aspects of the deal structure.  We welcome a minority ownership stake from existing shareholders and retained management.

Cobbossee only invests in businesses that we can understand and manage and that meet other well developed criteria:

• Annual sales of between $5M and $50 million, with a minimum of $500K in EBITDA;
• Differentiated and defensible market positions in a niche industry segment;
• Profitable growth opportunities;
• Reasonable price, and
• Midwest headquarters.

 We like companies in manufacturing, branded products, distribution and business services industries.
