Cobbossee LLC (Cobbossee) is a private equity and management firm in Northfield, IL.  We are founded on 80 years of complementary professional experiences, common values and a shared respect for the rights of shareholders.  Our money is invested side-by-side with Accredited Investors to acquire majority-control of lower middle-market companies.

Our strategy reflects our belief that a hands-on approach is the best way for us to create superior shareholder returns consistently.  We will employ the same management principles and processes that led to breakthrough financial performance in our most recent executive assignments.  Specifically, we will emphasize superb execution to improve the profitability of the base business.  In addition, we will aggressively pursue profitable growth opportunites, such as several bolt-on acquisitions, organic business development and new product development.  The priority will be on conducting more business with our best customers.    

Our shareholder policies are designed to give investor's transparency and flexibility in the investment process.  Cobbossee will partner with Accredited Investors who will invest directly in a company, side-by-side with us, without a requirement for an upfront commitment.  Prior to making a commitment,  prospective investors will have the benefit of the company information and our vetted assessment.  The investment fees will be in accordance with industry standards, payable primarily after investors realize threshold returns.
